Family Coaching Program

Are you struggling with disobedience, verbal threats, physical aggression? Are the actions of one child in the home impacting their siblings?

Every parent has had moments when they didn’t know how to handle their child’s behavior. Sometimes, the problems are easy to work out with your child. Other times, the issues become bigger, resentment builds, and all options for a peaceful resolution are exhausted.

Our Family Coaching Program helps parents struggling with children in the home. We work with parents to build a better relationship with your child, modify existing behaviors, and bring harmony back to your home. Chaddock Parent Coaches are individuals with extensive experience providing day to day care for children and adolescents in Chaddock’s Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program. The DTAP program has earned a national reputation for successfully serving some of the country’s most challenging children suffering from the effects of attachment issues and developmental trauma.

Family Coaches use principles and methods influenced by:

  • Theraplay®
  • Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI)
  • Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy® (DDP)

Talented Coaches

Although the coaches have training in the above models, they are not therapists. Their focus is on helping parents live out their day to day life with stronger tools to handle behavioral challenges with their children. Having worked side by side with therapists, Chaddock parent coaches are skilled at incorporating therapist recommendations and clinical models into general parenting practices.

At Chaddock, we believe that the greatest degree of healing and the establishment a behavioral management plan happens in the day to day interactions our talented coaches have with our Chaddock kids. We bring that formula of success to your family through Parenting Coaching.
