At Chaddock, we've created the perfect blend to address trauma, developmental trauma, and attachment issues called the DTAP® Treatment Model. The DTAP® Treatment Model is a combination of Theraplay®, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy®(DDP) principles, and sensory interventions used in concert with the following evidence-based trauma therapy techniques.

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS)

  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)

  • Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency: A Comprehensive Framework for Intervention with Complexly Traumatized Youth (ARC)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Additionally, Chaddock staff members have been participants in the learning community for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network's (NCTSN) Psychological First Aid (PFA). According to the NCTSN, PFA is an evidence-informed modular approach to help children, adolescents, adults, and families in the immediate aftermath of disaster and terrorism. PFA is designed to foster short-term and long-term adaptive functioning and coping.
