Giving to Help Children
Areas of Exceptional Need
Day-to-day Operations
Charitable funding from private sources is needed for more than 25% of Chaddock's operating budget. Benevolent funds bridge the gap between actual cost of care and reimbursed monies, as well as the development of new services. Such gifts also provide for general facility maintenance and equipment. Chaddock is not a United Way agency, thus receives no United Way funds.
Master Facility Plan
This plan addresses comprehensive capital needs, as present facilities are well work and inadequate to efficiently serve current programming; and space is not available to accommodate much-needed growth. The plan proposes extensive renovation of some buildings, demolition of antiquated facilities, the construction of a new education center, kitchen, dining hall, library and computer lab, three multi-purpose training and conference rooms, two treatment residences, a maintenance facility and a campus child and family center. Naming opportunities are available. Construction is contingent on funds acquired. Additional information on the master facility plan is available here.
Endowment
Endowment gifts provide a perpetual legacy of love as the interest on the principal gift provides dependable income for the future of Chaddock's ministry for children and families. An endowment gift of $50,000 or more may be personally named for the individual making the gift or in honor or in memory of a loved one.
Memorial Gifts can be given in memory of a deceased friend or family member, keeping their caring influence alive in the life of a Chaddock child. An acknowledgment of the gift will be sent to the family of the deceased, and a remembrance will be listed in Chaddock's quarterly newsletter, The Chaddock Connection. The amount of the gift is not shared.
Living Honor Gifts are a tribute to someone still here to enjoy your love and appreciation through a gift for Chaddock children. They may be given to recognize special occasions such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, retirement, to express gratitude, or "just because." The individual receiving the tribute will receive a written acknowledgment of the gift, and the occasion will be listed in Chaddock's quarterly newsletter, The Chaddock Connection. The amount of the gift is not shared.
Gifts can be designated for current operational needs, the endowment fund, the building fund, or any particular program or service.
The Chaddock Children's Foundation and Chaddock are the legal names of the two not-for-profit organizations supporting Chaddock children.
