Employment Benefits
Paid Vacation: Two weeks the first year, three weeks each successive year for direct care workers. May accumulate two years entitlement.
  • Paid Sick Leave: One day per month, accumulating to 480 hours.
  • Paid Holidays: Eight paid holidays each year.
  • Personal Days: Two each year.
  • Health Insurance: Self-insured PPO Plan with Quincy Healthcare Management (QHCM.) Employees contribute a part of the monthly premium. Dental, vision, wellness, and prescription benefits are included in the health plan. Family coverage is also available.
  • Cafeteria Plan: Offered to employees as a way to save money by using pre-tax dollars to pay three types of expenses, premiums for insurance, unreimbursed medical, and dependent care expenses.
  • Life Insurance: $10,000 policy provided by Chaddock with supplemental life insurance also available for employees and their family.
  • Pension Plan: After two years of employment, Chaddock contributes 6% of gross wages into the 403B plan, employee must contribute a minimum of 2%, pre-tax or post-tax. 100% vesting upon enrollment.
  • Evaluations and Salary Reviews: Six-month performance review for each new employee. Subsequent evaluations and salary reviews done annually. All salary increases based on merit.
  • The above listed benefits are typical for a direct service staff member.
